I was born and raised in Northeast Iowa. I attended Wartburg College and earned a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science. While attending college, I spent a summer interning at a law office in Denver. I fell in love with Colorado, so I moved back as soon as I graduated from college. After a year of skiing and having fun in Winter Park, I decided to pursue a career in law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. After my second year, I knew I didn't want to become a lawyer, so during the summer of 2003 I earned my real estate license.
I have been a real estate agent for over four years now, and I love it! I have helped numerous clients buy and sell homes throughout the metro-area. I have worked on a wide variety of properties ranging from $40,000 condos to million $ houses, and new construction to historic properties, as well as vacant land. I have always been interested in history, art, architecture, so selling older homes is my passion. I also enjoy working with first-time homebuyers and investors because I love watching a neglected house be transformed into a beautiful home.
For me, the key to success in real estate is communication. I am always available on my cell phone, and I return calls and check my email several times each day. I have developed professional relationships with mortgage brokers, inspectors, and title companies to help guide my clients through each step of the real estate process. I thrive on negotiating for my clients to help them achieve their financial goals. I take the time to get to know each of my clients, and I work hard to make their buying and selling experiences smooth, enjoyable, and profitable.
In addition to selling real estate, I enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, reading, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and watching my two labs play at the Berkeley dog park.
